F = False
E = Evidence
A = Appearing
R = Real

Dictionary.com defines it as:  A distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc. whether the threat is real or imagined; the feeling or condition of being afraid.  Concern or anxiety.
Then there is, reverental awe, especially toward God.

There is no denying or arguing about it, everybody is afraid of something.  Whatever the reason, good or bad, right or wrong, whether we are supposed to be or not, there is something that distresses you, causes you grief.  It may be something as small as a spider, or as large as a dog.  As loud as a clap of thunder, or as dark as the night.  It could be the fear of the number 13, or certain colors or smells.  Everybody, is afraid of something.  It could be the fear of losing, losing your job, or not accomplishing a feat, or the fear of not reaching your expected goal that you have set in life.  It could be the fear of heights, or of being enclosed in tight places.  It may be the fear of being or getting sick, or even dying.  Everybody, is afraid of something.  It could be fear of not being successful, not being accepted, not making correct choices, not fulfilling your destiny, commitment, or relationships.  But if you are truly honest with yourself, Everybody, is afraid of something whether we should be or not.  If we were not, we would be a lot further along than we are right now.  We give no room or credance to the enemy, we speak nothing into existence, but we will pull these thoughts down once and for all.  We want to know, that you know, who you are, and what the word of God says about you, and about fear in your life.  These we WILL comment on if you need us to.  And we will stand in agreement with heaven for complete irradication of fear out of your life.
Prov. 6:30 talks about the thief, and it says, “but if he be found, he shall restore
                sevenfold.  He shall give (or give back) all the substance of his house.
He’s been found out!  We will conquer fear once and for all!

So, here is the question,

What are you afraid of?  How has it/or how does it hinder you faith walk?
How have you/or how can you change that? And, is there such a thing as a healthy fear?

Now, tell me what you think.

What is Your Purpose?

Hi everyone.  In this post, I’am going to use a quote from Dr. Myles Munroe’s book that we have been studying, “UNDERSTANDING THE PURPOSE AND POWER OF A WOMAN.”

But this quote can be applied to anybody, man or woman, and just about anything in your life.  He said this, “Where purpose is not know, abuse is inevitable.  If you don’t know the purpose of a thing, all you will do is abuse it, no matter how sincere, committed, serious, or innocent you are.”  He then said, “We shouldn’t attempt to use anything until we find out why it exists, because when we don’t know what the maker intended for it, we will not treat his creation appropriately.  If you don’t know the purpose for your existence, then not matter how earnest or sincere you are, all you can do is abuse your life.”

That statement was profound, so here is the three part question.  What happens when we don’t know the real reason and purpose for our/your existence?
And, do you know yours?  And if you do or do not know your purpose, then how does that make you feel knowing or not knowing?

Now, tell me what you think.

On Monday, a new question will post, but feel free to continue to comment on the current questions.  Also, a poetry page will be going up on Monday as well, so get those poems together.  The world is waiting.

Thanks for all your support.  Tell your freinds about this place where you voice and vent without judgement.  Wow!

What is True Forgiveness?

Hello everyone.  There is a word or a subject that I would like to discuss that a lot of people seem to be having a really huge problem with, and that is,

Wikipedia defines forgiveness as this, “The process of concluding resentment, indignation or anger, as a result of a perceived offense, difference or mistake; and ceasing to demand punishment or restitution. That means, you give up all claim on account of the perceieved offence or debt.  and not expect restorative justice from the percieved offender.  Many people say, “I forgave, but I won’t forget.”

Forgiveness is not for others, it’s for you.  When we don’t forgive, we will begin to harbor feelings such as anger and bitterness, that will quickly turn to hate, especially when we feel like we have been wronged.  Then we simply get stuck there, just existing and we can’t move on, because we can’t seem to forgive.  We become victims.     Once we begin to internalize these feelings we tend to do serveral things, 1. We lash out.  2. We blame or transfer blame.  3. We act out.  4. We hide.

So, here is the question, If I forgive and not forget is it true forgiveness?  Do I need to forgive anyone?  Am I holding anyone in unforgiveness?  And, Is it necessary for the offender to offer some form of acknowledgement, apology, and/or restitution, or even just ask for forgiveness, in order for the wronged person to believe himself able to forgive?

Now, tell me what you think.

Can A Wounded Heart Be Healed?

Hello everyone.  I hope your Holiday Season was as joyous and as wonderful as mine.  It truly is the season of giving, hope, love and family.  We spent time with our loved ones.   Shared old stories of days gone by.   Gifted, ate, laughed, played games and just simply enjoyed one another.  But isn’t it peculiar that although this season is the season of love, that it is also the seaon that people are the most depressed and stressed.  Anxiety and anger is totally out of control, and suicide is at it’s highest point of the whole year.  So, it may be safe to say that some did not have as great of an experience as you or  I did.

And although this is the season of giving, hope, love and joy, this is also the season when some families are in turmoil.  Brothers fighting brothers, and sisters fighting sisters, aunts and uncles and everyone in between tend to get into arguements and altercations.  Husbands and wives are sleeping in different rooms, or not even in the same house at all.   Not that this doens’t happen at other times, but during this particular season, the problems seem to magnify themselves.

I know a man that has not talked to his sister in over 40 years.  I also know a woman who has been feuding with her mother for over 17 years, and brothers that can’t seem to come to an agreement about anything at all right now.  And they took this season to share their problems that didn’t just now manifest, but seem to be greater in light of the closeness of the season.  There are ongoing feuds everywhere.  Now, to me, that is a shame.  Life is too short to hold anger or a grudge for so very long, for even a moment longer than necessary.  But can it be helped?  Do they even remember what it was that caused the disagreement in the first place.

What would cause a person to be so filled with anger and hate that they would totally excommunicate themselves from family and loved ones?    What can possibly be done to heal the wounds of these broken relationships.  Has time and circumstances totally made these wounds irreparable?    Is the blood bond enough to repair wounds that seem to cut so deeply?  Is love enough to bring families and hearts back together?  Can they inadvertantly and mistakenly transfer that anger onto others?  Is there any hope at all?   Can the breach be fixed?

These are very deep and interesting questions.  Now, Tell me what you think.
